These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FenSight software and the fennok.com website, operated by FENNOK, LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using FenSight, you agree to these Terms.
Every install includes a 30-day full-access trial. After the trial, the core canvas (drag & drop, tags, save/load boards, basic layouts, export) remains available at no cost with no time limit. Free tier use is strictly reserved for individual, non-commercial use only. Businesses, corporations, organizations, and any commercial entities must purchase a Studio license for each user.
Unlocks everything FenSight does for one named person: AI semantic search, Chat dock automation, Duplicate Finder, Watched Folders, multi-item Path ID routing, all cluster-based layouts, and all visualizers (World Map, Artist Visualizer, File Size Visualizer, Game Memory Mode). One payment, no subscription, never expires. For clarity, lifetime means you have a perpetual right to use the specific version you bought forever, but major future releases require an upgrade fee. An Individual license permits use by one named person, including paid freelance and client work performed by that person, on the machines that person personally uses.
Includes everything in Individual plus Team Board editing (shared boards with embedded roots) and Present Board (presenter panel, speaker notes, Presentation Mode). A Studio license is required when FenSight is used by or on behalf of a company, studio, agency, institution, or other organization — including where an organization purchases, reimburses, or supplies the software or the machine it runs on. Sold per seat, one seat per person who uses the software; each seat activates independently and is machine-bound. An academic discount is available at checkout for qualifying educational institutions.
FenSight no longer sells a subscription of any kind; every license is a one-time purchase. Annual subscriptions purchased before this change remain valid and continue to be honored for their paid term under the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use FenSight on the licensed Windows machine and account. You may:
License keys are machine-bound and tied to a Windows account. You may release an accessible activation through the secure device-release flow before activating a replacement. If the old machine is unavailable, contact support for a verified transfer.
You may not:
FenSight no longer sells subscriptions. This section applies only to annual plans purchased before 2026-08-07, which remain valid for their paid term. Such a plan renews on a yearly basis until cancelled. If you cancel or your payment fails, your license lapses to the Free tier at the end of the billing period. Your board files and data are always yours and remain accessible under the Free tier; paid features are disabled until renewed. You may switch to a one-time Individual or Studio license at any time.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid licenses. If FenSight does not meet your needs for any reason, contact us within 14 days of purchase at info@fennok.com for a full refund — no questions asked. Refunds apply to the complete purchase; individual Studio seats within one order are not partially refunded. Refunds requested after 14 days are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. A completed full refund ends the paid entitlement. FenSight may periodically verify completed refunds, payment disputes, and customer-requested device releases. Network or service failures fail open and do not invalidate an otherwise valid perpetual license; local boards and Free features remain available after paid access ends.
FenSight and all related software, branding, and website content are the property of FENNOK, LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
FenSight is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FENNOK, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of FenSight, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in that venue.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of FenSight after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
